We had a cat, a very gentle cream colored Persian who went by the name of Puff, who used to love to curl up on top of the refrigerator. Me mum used to put a couple of cans of beer in the freezer, to get it cold fast, and one night when Puff was atop the fridge, she got up, removed a can, and sat back down at the kitchen table. After a minute or two, she became aware that Puff was actually growling. Just lying there...growling. This was very unlike him. She got up and went to him, and after a little close observation, during which he kept up a steady grrrrrrrr, she realized that the tip of his tail was shut in the top of the freezer door. She opened it up, he twitched his tail out, and then he calmly went back to doing nothing, silently, with no apparent ill effect.
The maltese falcon, I presume?

Cats. Gotta love 'em.
I have been proven wrong. I prognosticated that we would never get photos that showed DHR even had a kitchen.
