doghouse, i saw him play at the vogue back in the late 1970s or early 1980s. i forgot the exact date and year.
(for you folks outside indy, the vogue is a night club that often is the concert site for many live acts that haven't gotten big time. recent acts who played there were matisyahu, the orthordox jewish reggae-style rapper, and the john butler trio.)
he was good. damn good.
i remember the reverse guitar. i also remember that he held a pipe in his mouth, but the bowl was upside down.
