Yes.
“You don’t realize how many people 2,700 is until you look at the chairs and see it fills the entire lawn.”
Obviously, what we needed were bigger lawns.
People who count and get counted: 4474
People who don't: 98,170 or 110,600 or 654,965 or 1,033,000

Add present and future opportunity costs in lives lost or wasted and you can see millions more in the next frame we live now. Fallibility begets fallibility. Clusterfuck X2X2X2... the cascade of clusterfucks.
Can someone hit the reset button to like 10,000 B.C. or maybe that is where we are headed anyway as we go through the biggest bottleneck we begat by how we live. Live by the book, die by it ... so biblical.

@thunder - the most important thing the post editorial board decided to do this day was shield the elite from criticism. They sat around in the room and discussed what message they wanted to send, and they decided that protecting themselves and the people in charge for the past ten years was what their readers needed to know. Just think about that a second. A whole group of apparently functioning adults at one of our major papers decided that the fact that we aren't yet completely broken offsets everything else, and several of them probably weren't drunk.
